Head Baker Sophie, worked in the commercial food world as a Development Technologist before retraining as a baker at the School for Artisan Food on the Welbeck Estate, Nottinghamshire. Barmies combines her passion for baking, innovation, wholesome natural food and craft beer.

''What is unique about Barmies is that they are a beer snack which is derived from the brewing process itself. The yeasty, malty flavour from the barm really compliments the beer and the use of the 'barm' also makes great use of an ingredient which would otherwise be wasted.''
